A Cemetery Of All Faiths
The goal of Lutheran Cemetery Association is to demonstrate God’s love by caring and comforting all His people as they journey through end of life decisions and grieve from the loss of their loved one.
Lutheran Cemetery opened in 1894 as a cemetery of ALL faiths. It has long since been the location of burials for many of Cleveland’s Lutheran community.
As you pass through the wrought iron gates of Lutheran Cemetery the winding driveways take you out of the city and into the tranquil setting of the 124 year old park. The large old trees cast long cool shadows on beautifully sculpted memorials throughout the thirty plus acres. His peace and grace reign here.
Whether your need is immediate or a loving act of pre-planning, we invite you to experience the peaceful year-round beauty of Lutheran Cemetery.

A columbarium is a granite wall with compartments, called niches for cremations. Each niche will hold two cremations. Columbarium gardens as an above-ground option for inurnment of cremations.
Full Body Interment
Each in ground gravesite will accommodate one full body and up to two cremations.
Lutheran Cemetery gravesites are sold in sections that accommodate flush headstones, also know as grass markers or sections to accommodate a raised headstone.
Granite and Bronze memorials are permitted. Each section in the cemetery may have different memorial restrictions. Caring Christian personnel are available to assist you at each location with the process of choosing and designing your final tribute to your loved one. Planning ahead by designing your own memorial is a loving gift for your family.
Granite benches are another beautiful tribute to the legacy a loved one has left behind. All granite benches are placed at the discretion of the planning committee with special consideration of the family’s wishes.
